Third Tohoku-IMEC Seminar was held in
IMEC, Leuven, Belgium on November 12, 2014. The seminar was annually held alternately by Tohoku University and IMEC based on
Strategic Partnership, which was
signed in 2012 in the presence of his Royal Highness Prince (King at present) Philippe of Belgium, after Prof. Tanaka’s residence in IMEC from September 2010 to March 2011. In this year, 14 professors were delegated, and 6 speakers presented their recent projects from each side. From our laboratory, Prof. Muroyama talked about the
network tactile sensor for robot application and the massively-parallel electron beam lithography system. In the next day, some professors visited
Holst Centre in Eindhoven, The Netherlands. Prof. Tanaka introduced our recent activities including the network tactile sensor, piezoelectric material/devices and the
tunable SAW filter.
